Apply Today to Participate in this Exciting Program!

CTEWorkforce is proud to offer its proven Technology Enabled Engagement and Mentoring™ (TEEM) programto Virginia high school students over the summer break. TEEM is a unique peer-mentoring initiative that pairs highschool students who are interested in cybersecurity or cyber-adjacent fields with a college student who ismajoring in a similar program. This program was developed to support the positioning of Virginia as acybersecurity center of excellence.

How Does It Work?

During the six-week program, the student will be completing five introductory modules focused on cybersecurityand college preparation. Each week, they will complete a learning module and then schedule an hour-longmeeting with their college-student mentor to discuss what they learned and gain knowledge and experience fromsomeone going through a similar program at the university level. Scheduling and driving these meetings with theirmentor will build confidence and develop the student’s professional soft skills.

We have received outstanding feedback from students, mentors and the Virginia high schools that haveparticipated in past TEEM cohorts.
